Newer Cachemash Works (2019)
Cachemashing is a glitch in Adobe Photoshop discovered by Hugh Manon and Daniel Temkin, where the programs image cache is randomly projected onto a truncated JPEG image. This glitch was found to be reliably evoked in older versions of Photoshop, like version 6.0.
Building on the 2017 Cachemash Series, the 2019 series explores the use of gradients, blending modes, and colors in creating software performance-based animations that are available on Giphy.
